Catchy anime tunes get a jazzy...

Catchy anime tunes get a jazzy makeover by the Catbus Collective at the Red Pavilion! Led by trombonist Peter Lin, the group breathes new life into familiar themes from Naruto, Ghibli Classics like Howl's Moving Castle, and Suzume. Expect playful improvisation and infectious energy that'll have you toe-tapping and humming along. What an incredible performance!

Came for the AAPI Jazz Collective’s set for Rhapsody in Red - amazing musicians, beautiful venue, and great drinks. Love how the space caters to music that is so underrepresented. Highly recommend!
WOW...

WOW! Came for the catbus collective’s anime/Ghibli jazz night and ended up staying for their later show as well. Knocked it out of the park! Great drinks, great vibes, great music. Small menu selection (definitely eat beforehand, but the bar snacks are super tasty if you’re hungry and in a pinch!) definitely would recommend! (Price per person includes about $22 ticket for a seat at a table, drink, and snack!)

The catbuscollective is an amazing band ensemble. They electrify the room with their musical interpretations of classic anime themes. I had such a lovely time and will definitely come back soon! 🌟
